Dumpster for concrete, dirt and brick
Broken concrete, brick, block and soil are the heaviest debris a homeowner can produce. The size of the box matters less than the weight the truck can safely lift.
Booking hours: Monday to Saturday 8 to 8, Sunday 8 to 1 (Eastern time)

Why small, and why not full
Small containers
Companies usually send their smallest roll-off (often 10 yards, sometimes less) for heavy material. A larger box filled with concrete would be too heavy to lift onto the truck.
Fill lines
Expect a limit on how high you can load. Some boxes have a painted line; otherwise the company tells you, often a third to a half full.
Clean loads
A load of only concrete, only brick, or only soil can often go to a recycler instead of a landfill. Companies may price clean loads differently and refuse them if trash is mixed in.
Pull out rebar, wire mesh and wood forms if the company asks for a clean load, and keep sod and roots separate from fill dirt.

Protect the driveway
- Lay plywood or planks under both rails before delivery
- Load with a wheelbarrow over a ramp board, not by dropping slabs from height
- Spread the load evenly so the box sits level
- Keep the container off thin sidewalk slabs and septic areas

Book a roll-off for your Albany address
Pick up the phone with three things in mind: the debris, the drop spot and your dates. A locally run, independent roll-off company picks up, recommends a container and quotes a drop-off day and a total.
This number is for rentals, not trash pickup. Albany's regular trash and recycling are handled by the city's Department of General Services.
